The WUZU app, created by UK-based company Labbaik VR, is the first of its kind; a 3D virtual tour of the Kaaba and its surrounding areas. For the app, the creators wanted to reach a global audience to gain worldwide downloads through a complete digital marketing plan.
The WUZU App creators wanted to create a complete digital presence for their app including an impressive website, engaging social media pages and an informative app landing page alongside a research-based marketing campaign.
What We Did
We created a three-pronged marketing campaign to gauge the market and get the highest number of downloads possible. We used data analytics and the complete Google and Facebook networks to launch the marketing campaign.
We also expertly crafted an easy-to-navigate website with stunning visuals from start to finish. The website flows seamlessly from the backend to the front, with content and imagery that matches the level of proficiency the app itself showcases. The website also featured an extensive blog section backed by SEO to generate leads.
We created engaging social media pages on Facebook and Instagram to help engage users and to create leads which helped garner more downloads for the app.
What We Achieved
Through learnings of user behavior and reception, we were able to focus on one prong of the three to ensure we got the best results from the media spend.
With the complete plan in motion, the app was downloaded over 30,000 times in over 25 different countries within the first two months of the launch which surpassed expectations.
